Roshar is based in both New York and Los Angeles, and he travels the world to teach his modern, edgy style to makeup artists everywhere. Roshar left his home, a small town in Texas, when he was only 15 years old and began working as a makeup artist to help pay the rent. With the expansion of the "club scene" in the 1980s and 1990s, he began to take his unconventional makeup styles to a new level. You can see hints of this influential era and style in his work from time to time.
